Becca Gallacher is a Scottish expressive artist and designer, whose work pulses with energy and a deep connection to nature. A graduate of DJCAD with a BA Hons in Fine Art, Becca’s artistic journey took her across Europe, including a formative period in Barcelona where she honed her craft alongside other artists while teaching English.

Her paintings and drawings capture movement, texture, and emotion — often inspired by music, which allows her to create intuitively and therapeutically. This fusion of conscious technique and unconscious flow brings a unique vitality and ‘double vision’ to her canvases, reflecting how she sees and experiences the world.

Art has been Becca’s refuge and lifeline from an early age. She fondly recalls childhood moments drawing at the kitchen table with her mother — a memory that sparked her lifelong passion for capturing the beauty of life with just a few strokes.

Becca openly shares her journey through anxiety and hardship, revealing how art became a sanctuary in moments of struggle. “In my art, I find a place free from grief and pain — only colour, movement, and beauty. Even when I’m not satisfied with a piece, creating it takes me somewhere safe.”

Her diverse body of work ranges from delicate ink drawings to large-scale mixed media pieces, all infused with a sense of freedom, spontaneity, and a celebration of the changing seasons. Whether inspired by a stroll through the fields, the textures of petals, or the flow of rivers and waterfalls, Becca’s art invites viewers to see the extraordinary in the everyday.

In 2020, Becca founded Little Living Room, a social enterprise supporting emerging creatives breaking into the art world. Drawing on this experience, she now channels her skills and passion into her own art and bespoke design projects — creating work that resonates with authenticity, emotion, and creative spirit.
